This Super Orange Ricordea yuma is "WYSIWYG" What you see is what you get so this one is yours!

Ricordea yuma is a type of mushroom coral known for its soft, fleshy appearance and vibrant, often multicolored body with textured bumps and a central mouth. It typically forms small, disc-like polyps that can display brilliant hues of orange, green, purple, or combinations of these, making it a popular choice for adding color and movement to reef aquariums. Unlike many LPS corals, Ricordea yuma is non-photosynthetic-leaning and relies heavily on feeding, often extending its oral disc to capture food particles in the water column.

For care, Ricordea yuma prefers low to moderate lighting and gentle water flow to allow its tissue to fully expand without being disturbed. It does best in stable reef conditions with consistent parameters and minimal fluctuations. These corals should be placed on rock or sand where they can attach and are not exposed to strong currents or aggressive neighbors. Regular feeding of small, fine particulate foods—such as reef plankton or powdered coral foods—can greatly improve growth, coloration, and overall health.
