Welcome to the unique and fascinating world of Pacific East Aquaculture! We are a Maryland certified and licensed coral aquaculture facility with fifteen 12ft by 3ft raceways and numerous other systems chocked full of thousands of corals, fish, and inverts. We operate a greenhouse with natural sunlight and a large indoor coral farming facility with LED lighting and a huge selection of every type of livestock.
We are not your typical local fish store, nor is this a part-time sideline business, we are full time crazy about reef aquariums and providing you with great livestock and an even better shopping experience.

We are serious about sustainable coral propagation and stimulating and educating the next generation of reefkeepers! Since 2000 we have been providing spectacular livestock to many thousands of reef hobbyists.

Dr. Mac, our founder and owner, is a board certified veterinary pathologist. Dr. Mac has been a marine aquarium hobbyist since 1965 and Pacific East Aquaculture has been in operation since 2000. Don't hesitate to call us if you need assistance with any reef tank related issues. Dr. Mac and our staff look forward to serving you. Plus, you are welcome to visit our facility and inspect everything posted on our site. Come on in and see it for yourself!
Reef Clubs & Groups Welcome!
If you are a member of a reef club or other group and are interested in arranging an event at our facility please contact us. It is a great opportunity for your group to enjoy a day that includes the opportunity to see and acquire some amazing livestock with free food and beverages provided!

We sell wholesale to other stores and retail to hobbyists--both online and at our retail outlet.
Our Hours
We are not open for walk in retail business due to the remodeling of our facility and will reopen to walk in customers sometime in September. You can still order on line and we will have an order ready for pickup for you. Just let us know what day you would like to pick it up and we will confirm the pickup time. Pacific East Aquaculture is situated on the idyllic Delmarva peninsula located between the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Chesapeake Bay to the west. The lower Eastern Shore of Maryland is a quiet and relaxing place with many farms, wetlands, and waterways. Crab houses and crabcakes abound along with many antique stores and the resort town of Ocean City along with our neighbor town of Berlin--of fame from the movie Runaway Bride. So, there is a lot to see and do here beside visiting us, it’s a beautiful drive here from every direction such as New York and Philadelphia to the north, Baltimore and Washington DC to the west, or Richmond or Virginia Beach to the south. All roads lead you to beautiful downtown Mardela Springs Maryland and Pacific East Aquaculture. A WORD OF CAUTION, PLEASE OBEY SPEED LIMITS, THIS IS A VERY HEAVILY PATROLLED AREA! SPEED LIMITS ARE MONITORED 24/7 365!! Don't give your hard earned money to the state, save it for us!
