Our experience in coral aquaculture and marine livestock husbandry spans more than two decades of full-time dedication to the reef aquarium industry. Pacific East Aquaculture has been actively propagating and farming corals long before aquacultured corals became commonplace within the hobby. Led by Dr. Mac Terzich, a lifelong reef hobbyist, veterinary pathologist, diver, and aquaculture pioneer, our team has traveled extensively throughout the world working with coral farms, clam farms, and marine livestock suppliers to develop advanced propagation, husbandry, and conditioning techniques. This hands-on global experience, combined with years of operating large-scale coral raceways, greenhouse systems, and indoor LED farming facilities, allows us to provide healthy, aquacultured livestock backed by real-world expertise and proven long-term success.
Sustainability has always been one of the core foundations of Pacific East Aquaculture. We strongly believe the future of the reef aquarium hobby depends on responsible aquaculture, captive propagation, and ethical reef keeping practices that help reduce pressure on natural reef ecosystems. Our focus on aquacultured corals, conditioned and quarantined livestock, in-house live food production, and sustainable farming methods allows us to offer hardier, healthier marine life while promoting environmentally responsible reef keeping. By investing in coral propagation, education, and sustainable marine aquaculture, we are committed to helping preserve the beauty and biodiversity of coral reefs for future generations of reef hobbyists.
