Short Spine Algae Destroyer Urchin

Short spine urchins are excellent algae grazers that eat many types of algae including coralline and are hardy reef animals and do well in most marine aquariums. Less prone to carrying and rearranging small items than their Pincushion cousins. Take care with acclimating as they are somewhat sensitive to water chemistry changes. Their spines are sharp so be careful in handling. Coloration varies.
