This Bicolor Blastomussa merletti  is"WYSIWYG" - What you see is what you get - so this one is yours!  This is grown on our farm and is a Dr. Mac Stash coral. We have a wide variety of corals all grown in our facility.

Blastomussa are very brightly colored large polyp stony corals. The combination of colors can be breathtaking and these deeper water corals like low light and slow flow. During collections and handling they can be easily damaged, so go for pieces that are puffy with no damaged polyps. Feeding with small live foods is very advantageous and will result in many baby polyps developing around the side edges of larger polyps. Blastomussa wellsi have short conical polyps and come in a huge variety of colors, Blastomussa vivida generally occur a single larger polyps with a short conical skeleton and also have a wide variety of patterns and colors. Blastomussa merletti has long tubes of skeleton and a small fleshy polyp at the end. They has far fewer color varieties and grow relatively quickly. All Blastomussa are easy-to-keep corals and add a big pop in color to any reef!
