Acanthophyllia are often called Meat corals because of their puffy meaty appearance. They inflate with water to appear much larger than their smaller round skeleton. Acanthophyllia occur in deeper waters so in the aquarium they should be place at the bottom of the tank under lower blue lightning. They do well with the occasional feeding of most types of frozen foods. Low flow and low light will be the best for your Acanthophyllia.
