Green Bubble Coral

Size: 2.5 inches

This Green Bubble Coral is "WYSIWYG" What you see is what you get so this one is yours!

Bubble corals (genus Plerogyra) are large-polyp stony (LPS) corals known for their distinctive, inflated bubble-like vesicles that expand during the day and retract at night to reveal feeding tentacles. Their soft, flowing appearance adds movement and texture to reef aquariums, and they’re generally considered moderately easy to keep, making them a popular choice for aquarists looking to add a unique focal piece.

For care, bubble corals prefer low to moderate lighting and gentle, indirect water flow, as strong currents can damage their delicate tissue. Place them with plenty of space, since they can extend sweeper tentacles at night that may sting nearby corals. Maintain stable water parameters (temperature ~76–80°F, salinity 1.025, calcium ~400–450 ppm, alkalinity 8–10 dKH), and avoid sudden changes. While they get much of their energy from photosynthesis, they benefit from occasional feeding of small meaty foods like mysis shrimp or reef blends.
