Zoanthids are generally hardy and can quickly spread across rockwork, forming colorful “carpets” over time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eFor care, Zoanthids prefer \u003cb\u003elow to moderate lighting\u003c\/b\u003e and \u003cb\u003elow to moderate water flow\u003c\/b\u003e, which helps keep them open and clean without causing them to retract. They thrive in \u003cb\u003estable water conditions\u003c\/b\u003e (temperature ~76–80°F, salinity ~1.025, alkalinity 8–9 dKH, calcium 400–450 ppm, magnesium 1250–1350 ppm) and are relatively forgiving, making them great for beginners. They benefit from clean water and can tolerate a range of conditions, though stability is key. While they get most of their energy from light, occasional feeding of fine particulate foods can promote growth.
