Place it on stable lower to mid-level rockwork or on the sand bed where the polyps can fully expand without rubbing against sharp surfaces. Maintain stable alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, salinity, temperature, nitrate, and phosphate. This coral is photosynthetic but responds very well to supplemental feeding. Small portions of mysis shrimp, copepods, finely chopped marine foods, or appropriately sized coral foods can be offered when feeding tentacles are extended.
