This WYSIWYG specimen displays a vivid turquoise to blue-green base with irregular clusters of fluorescent orange, deep burgundy-purple, lavender, pale blue, and mint-green vesicles scattered across the surface. The contrasting colors form a highly varied “confetti” pattern, with brighter orange highlights concentrated along portions of the outer margin and throughout the disc. Raised folds and densely textured vesicles add strong three-dimensional structure to the coral. Rhodactis mushrooms contain symbiotic zooxanthellae that provide much of their nutritional requirements through photosynthesis, while they can also capture small suspended and meaty foods. Under favorable aquarium conditions, they may expand considerably and reproduce through division or pedal laceration. Avoid strong direct flow, which can interfere with full expansion or potentially cause the mushroom to detach from its substrate. Place on stable lower to mid-level rockwork with adequate room for expansion and future spreading. Maintain stable salinity, temperature, alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, and phosphate. Rhodactis mushrooms receive much of their nutrition through photosynthesis but may benefit from occasional small meaty or planktonic foods. Acclimate gradually when introducing the coral to stronger lighting and avoid abrupt changes in aquarium conditions.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2133/7655/files/confetti-rhodactis-mushroom-soft-premium-frag-pea-F-OC0449.jpg?v=1791301010
